My winter break was the best part of my 2015 year, I got to do so many fun things and spend time with family I had not seen in many years. We went up to Lake Tahoe and spent like 2 weeks there it was a nice experience because we traveled to many places there and it snowed for a week straight so we had about 3 feet of snow around town. We also went to Reno, Nevada where we visited some Casino’s with the best Buffets. We had fun going up a very tall mountain and then sliding down the snow, even though I crashed into a pine tree. So I can say that 2015 was a wonderful year for me.
This semester was honestly pretty tough because it was hard staying up with all the work that I had to do in my classes. At first I thought that I wasn’t going to pass all my 7 out of 7 classes this semester because I had tons of work to do for many classes but I have never planned on giving up on any obstacle in life. So in order to make up all the work I started staying after school and also stayed up very late ,every night. With all this hard work I did all the things I had to make up for and finished all the work for the first semester that I had to do. It was also a really good year going to all the Football games that were here home so that I could be out there to support my school. The reality of my last semester has hit me because it is hard to believe that this is my last year here in Lindsay High School. Before this semester ends I need to make sure I finish English 12B, Economics, and Government; in order to graduate.
I have applied for COS and PC this year but my goal is to go to COS and after that transfer to Fresno State and finish getting my Bachelors degree there. After that I plan on getting a job as either an interpreter or a Collision and Repair mechanic. These two jobs really interest me because they are both things that I really like doing. I love spending time helping people out when they need translation from english to spanish or the other way around. It can be from speaking or it can be filling out papers that they need to fill out like the recent experience I had in some apartments when I helped the manager translate all the documents that the people that lived there had to fill out. The other thing that I really love doing is working on my car, every time it needs an oil change or another tune-up I don’t take it to the mechanic I do it myself because I love learning new things each time and doing the work myself. I know each thing that i’m doing daily will help me in the future because this is all needed in an everyday schedule.
